LEGOLAND® New York Resort is taking fun to new heights with the Minifigure Skyflyer, an immersive gondola-style ride - the first of its kind at any LEGOLAND® Resort. This unique interactive attraction sparks visitors’ imaginations while offering a fun new way to travel between lands within the park.

A&ES played a key role in theming the ride’s upper and lower terminals, transforming them into vibrant, story-driven spaces. Guests start their adventure in the terminals, "charging" the cable car batteries with hand-powered cranks before following a rainbow road to a disco-themed dance floor at the boarding platform. There, kids and families can show off their best dance moves to boost the power and help the themed party pods take flight.

To add to the storytelling, A&ES integrated upscaled LEGO® elements throughout the two terminals. The exteriors boast massive main signs with life-sized LEGO® Minifigures, bricks, and moving gears, while the interiors feature various themed LEGO® pieces and colorful monitor surrounds. These custom-fabricated elements work together to add to the ride’s overall narrative and make the Minifigure Skyflyer more than just a ride - it’s a one-of-a-kind party in the sky!
